No. In France, sworn status is a judicial accreditation, reserved for official documents intended for the courts or the administration. My work is a different thing altogether: professional and editorial translation into English — technical, marketing, press — backed by an MA in Translation Studies and by my membership of the Société française des traducteurs (SFT). If you need a sworn translation, I'll gladly point you towards a sworn translator I trust.
Quite the opposite. You can only depart from a text well once you are able to render it exactly. It is the work of an experienced translator, not a shortcut for someone who cannot be precise.
No. Every text is translated or written by me personally. That is the point.
Typically within a few working days; rush delivery is possible by arrangement (+25–50% under 48 hours).
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF and most common formats; I work with a professional CAT tool (memoQ) for consistency and terminology.
New clients: 50% deposit, balance on delivery. Established clients: 30 days. One round of revisions is always included.
